Press enquiries
This page is a contact route and a set of ground rules. It is deliberately not a list of coverage, because a clinic that has been written about does not need to tell you and one that has not should not imply it.
Who to contact
Media enquiries go to press@frithmedispa.com rather than to the clinic inbox, and they are answered by the clinic manager, who will put you in front of the medical director where a clinical comment is needed. Give a deadline in the first email, because we would rather decline in time than miss you.
What we will do
- Comment on how treatment decisions are made, on the difference between what devices claim and what they deliver, and on the state of regulation in aesthetics in England, which is a subject with more to say about it than most people expect.
- Explain the rules on advertising prescription only medicines, including why this website does not name one anywhere.
- Talk about pricing openly, including what things cost us.
- Say when a question is outside what anybody here can speak to, and suggest who could.
What we will not do
- Introduce you to a patient, or pass on a request to one. Not with consent, not anonymised, not for a sympathetic piece. The asymmetry between a clinic and its patients makes that request unfair however carefully it is phrased.
- Supply before and after photographs for publication.
- Offer treatment in exchange for coverage, or accept an approach that is structured that way.
- Comment on another clinic, or on a named individual practitioner.
- Endorse a product or a device brand.
Images and the logo
The clinic wordmark and the monogram can be used at the sizes supplied, without alteration, recolouring or stretching, in a piece that mentions the clinic. Ask and they will be sent as files. There are no interior photographs cleared for publication.
