How it works

Cellulite is caused by fibrous bands that tether the skin down while the fat between them pushes up, so the useful treatments work on the bands and the circulation rather than on the fat alone. The handpiece combines suction, mechanical rolling and controlled heat to soften those bands, increase local blood flow and improve the quality of the skin above them.

Typical course

Six to eight sessions, once or twice weekly, then monthly maintenance.

Who it is not suitable for

Not used over varicose veins, active infection, recent surgery in the area or during pregnancy. Not appropriate if you are expecting the dimpling to be removed rather than reduced.

Questions people ask

Will it get rid of cellulite completely?

No, and we would not claim it. Cellulite is structural and extremely common. What a course can realistically do is soften the appearance and improve skin texture, and that needs maintenance to hold.

Does losing weight fix it instead?

Not reliably. Cellulite occurs across every body size because the cause is the tethering bands rather than the volume of fat. Weight loss sometimes makes it look more obvious.

How long do results last?

Most people hold the improvement for a few months and then come in monthly. Stopping altogether means it drifts back over roughly six months.
