BioRePeel
A two phase peel that resurfaces without the visible flaking of a traditional peel.
From £110Acid solutions at varying strengths that lift the surface layer to clear congestion and brighten.
A solution is applied for a controlled time to loosen the bonds between surface skin cells so they shed faster than they would on their own. The acid, the strength and the contact time are chosen for your skin and for what you are treating, from a light lunchtime peel to a medium depth peel with real flaking. Deeper is not automatically better, and the right depth is the one your skin can recover from cleanly.
A course of four to six spaced two to four weeks apart, then maintenance every six to eight weeks.
Not used during pregnancy for the stronger formulations, over active eczema, broken skin or a cold sore, or within six months of oral isotretinoin. Recent sun exposure or a fresh tan means we will reschedule.
Every treatment here is assessed at consultation first. This list covers the common reasons we would not proceed, and it is not exhaustive. Bring your medication list and tell us about anything you are being treated for.
It depends on the depth. A light peel usually gives a slight dryness at day three that most people can hide. A medium peel flakes properly for several days and we will plan the timing around your diary.
Yes, with the right acid and a conservative build up, and we always patch test. The risk in darker skin is post inflammatory pigmentation from going too deep too quickly, so we go slowly on purpose.
Have a light peel seven to ten days before, not the day before. Never book a first ever peel close to an event.
