How it works
The formulation has a lipophilic side that carries the actives through the skin barrier and a hydrophilic side that works at the surface, so it resurfaces while it also delivers amino acids and vitamins into the skin. That combination is why it gives peel level renewal with far less shedding than a conventional acid peel of similar strength.
Typical course
Four to six sessions spaced one to two weeks apart, then monthly.
Who it is not suitable for
Not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over broken skin, active cold sores or sunburn, or if you have a salicylate allergy. Stop retinoids five days before.

Questions people ask
How is it different from a normal peel?
It renews at a similar level but sheds far less visibly, which makes it the practical choice when you cannot take flaking. A medium depth traditional peel still goes deeper if that is what your skin needs.
Does the tingling mean it is working?
The tingle is a normal part of the application and settles within a couple of minutes. Intensity of sensation is not a measure of how well any peel works.
Can I have it while pregnant?
No. The formulation contains salicylic acid, which we avoid in pregnancy. A hydrating facial is the sensible alternative and we are happy to book that instead.
