How it works
Purified polynucleotide chains are injected into the skin, where they act as a scaffold and prompt fibroblasts to behave more like younger cells. The effect is regenerative rather than volumising: the skin becomes thicker and better hydrated over a course. It is used a lot around the eyes because the skin there is too thin for most other injectables.
Typical course
Three sessions spaced two to three weeks apart, then every six months.
Who it is not suitable for
Not used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have an autoimmune condition affecting the skin, or if you have a fish allergy, since the source material is derived from fish DNA. Tell us about allergies before booking.

Questions people ask
Will it get rid of my dark circles?
It depends what is causing them. Where the darkness is thin skin showing the vessels underneath, thickening the skin genuinely helps. Where it is a hollow or pigmentation, this will not be the answer and we will say so at consultation.
Is there good evidence for it?
There is a reasonable and growing body of clinical work, particularly on wound healing and skin quality. It is newer than hyaluronic acid, and we will describe it as promising rather than proven beyond doubt.
Can it be combined with other injectables?
Yes, and it often is. A common plan is polynucleotides to improve the skin quality first, then filler for structure once the skin is in better condition.
